tannooga that is. my head is spinning. i came home from homeschool co-op to a very excited husband. he had just interviewed for a position in chattanooga and had the news that we were going on tuesday to interview in person. i was a bit blindsided by this news and my heart is excited for him, but so many worrying thoughts of the future. and he had just accepted a well paying position in pittsburgh. we shall see where He leads...tuesday.
polka dots, buttons and bottle caps. i'm a sucker for the joy in the small things. just hand me a jar of buttons and i'm gitty. i'm sitting at a lovely coffee shop sucking off their wifi in order to check my neglected email. we find ourselves in beautiful mt. pleasant, sc (outside charleston) with a broken water pump. and as the mechanic fixes our mess, i am unsure of what to do with my quiet. to zone out and waste time on a computer is a rare moment lately. i've been disconnected for weeks as we've been touring sites in FL and beyond. abroad, the connections has been spotty and the kids have been pulling me away. but how i've enjoyed catching up on my daily digests. and your thoughts are keeping me from shopping in that cute gift shop next door. the sweetest polka dot apron hangs in the window. but your stories are keeping me calm, money intact...until i get the bill for the water pump that is.
